- Back pain relief – Inversion therapy was initially designed to solve back pain that even surgery cannot fix. Assuming an upright position allows gravity to pull on the spine in the opposite direction allowing it to decompress. As the spine decompresses, pressure on the spinal nerves (which is what causes pain to be felt in various parts of the body) is dramatically reduced. As a result, you can say goodbye to back pain.
- Improved blood circulation – In order to pump blood to the various parts of your body, your heart has to exert a certain amount of pressure. Inversion therapy allows you to assist the heart in delivering blood to your brain and your limbs. You’ll essentially take some of the load off your heart, allowing it to rejuvenate and renew its strength.
- Improved posture – Inversion therapy helps encourage the realignment of your spine, which in turn helps correct bad posture. In addition, your spine is supported by your back muscles. Inverting allows you to work with gravity in taking some of the load off your back muscles. This gives them a chance to rejuvenate and regain their strength.
- Better brain function – Oxygen is transported to the brain through blood. Because inversion therapy improves blood circulation, the brain has easy access to all the oxygen it needs to develop and thrive. Improving oxygen circulation to the brain also has other side benefits as it also stimulates hair growth, improves skin tone, heightens mental acuity and sharpens memory retention.
- Increased spinal resilience – Spinal decompression does not just relieve back pain. By taking away pressure from the spinal discs, the blood and nutrient flow to the spine is improved. As a result, the spine becomes more resilient to herniation and bulging. This allows the body to more effectively resist the adverse effects of gravity, leading to better longevity.
However, inversion therapy is not for everyone. Certain medical conditions may prevent you from using gravity inversion boots and inversion tables. These include, but are not limited to, select eye disorders, pregnancy and severe heart conditions. Before you even look for inversion boots for sale, contact your physician or doctor first.
