Did you know that many famous personalities use Teeter Hang Ups inversion tables? Dan Brown, author of the best-selling thriller, “The Da Vinci Code” uses Teeter Hang Up inversion tables to fight writer’s block. Even Ozzy Osborne is a fan of Teeter inversion products.
If you have Teeter Hang Up Inversion Tables at home, here’s a quick and handy guide on how to use them to get the most out of inversion therapy.
Step #1
Make sure you adjust the hinge (roller) according to how much you weigh. If you’re a beginner set it to the following:
- “A” if your weight falls between 80 and 120 lbs.
- “B” if your weight falls between 120 and 220 lbs.
- “C” if your weight falls between 220 and 300 lbs.
Step #2
Make sure you adjust the table to fit your height. Leave a small allowance of about 1-2 inches. You should be able to find the height adjustment at the bottom of the table or under the back support.
Step #3
Use the tether strap if possible. The tether strap allows beginners (especially first-time inverters) to control their angle and to prevent them from immediately assuming a complete upside-down position.
Step #4
Use the angle clips on your feet. Make sure that the clips are securely positioned along the bars.
Step #5
Slowly flip yourself upside down. If you didn’t attach the tether strap, you would quickly assume an upside-down position. On the other hand, if it’s attached, you would flip at a set angle. Relax after the table has inverted. Just let gravity do its thing and allow your back to stretch.
Step #6
After staying inverted for about 20 to 30 minutes, use the tether handle to return to normal position. Make sure to remove the ankle clips. When you’re done, store your table in a safe location (better if it’s foldable).
After inverting for just half an hour, you’ll immediately feel the results. It’s like you gave your back a well-deserved breather! You’ll feel rejuvenated. Some Teeter Hang Ups review from other people say they even feel younger and stronger.
While it seems that inversion therapy is for everyone, some medical conditions automatically forbid people to invert. Be sure to consult your doctor before purchasing and using an inversion table to make sure it’s safe for you to use one.
